Course Outline
Our course will teach you everything you need to know to start a new career as a Medical Coding Specialist. Your online program includes practical instruction to train students to research and assign diagnostic and procedural codes to medical records. Students gain competency in ICD-10-CM and demonstrate CPT coding procedures. In addition to being an instructor for U.S. Career Institute, she currently is employed at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as manager of practice resources and educational development. Her main role is to provide practice support for orthopaedic surgeons in independent practice.
